LTP WORKSHOP 2016SYDNEY, NSW

Over the years, I had people ask if I could hold a workshop and share about business/photography. I found the thought incredibly daunting, because I felt so inadequate. But when I launched my new website, I was compelled to share what I have learnt over the years with someone who needed a bit of a push – for free. I was overwhelmed by the response but I eventually chose 2 passionate women (Elizabeth and Sally)!

The task of organising a “free” workshop could have been stressful. However, I was blown away by the generosity of my friends Amy Chan Hair & Makeup Artistry, Floral Pines Design Co. and The Roaring Pandas. I couldn’t have asked for a better team to work with.

Also, a big shoutout goes to Amanda and David – the couple who were chosen to model for us. It can be scary having your photo taken by one photographer, let alone 3 + 2 videographers!! They were naturals and made our jobs a breeze.

As I reflect on the day (and even the past 9 years of business), my heart is filled with so much joy and thankfulness.

Thank you all for your on going support. x

Some incredibly generous words from one of the attendees of the workshop. I was blushing while I was reading it!

“Having the opportunity to be in a workshop with Linda was amazing! Linda is the perfect combination of personal and professional.

She was very practical in giving business advice and shared many examples of different experiences she has had over her career. Linda actively listened to us to see how she could best help us with our future photography business plans. She shared in depth about her photography business, from the way she processes her photos to trusted vendors she uses. Most of the knowledge she shared would of taken us years to learn for ourselves. Having a professional like Linda so generously and humbly share the in and outs of her successful business was more valuable than I can put into words.

The lunch meeting was followed by an absolutely phenomenal styled photoshoot. Watching Linda work with the models was highly beneficial for me to see. The best thing about Linda is her ability to personally engage with her clients and make them feel comfortable during the photography shoot. Simple and practical techniques I have learnt from Linda will make all the difference in producing the best photos I am able to. I am now so excited and confident to shoot more couples having completed Linda’s workshop. Other people who are interested in understanding more about the business of photography, in particular wedding photography, will benefit from doing a workshop with Linda.”Sally

Big thanks to our friends, The Roaring Pandas, for putting together a video with behind the scenes footage of the day.
